Johanna has worked on nearly every type of production. From live televised events to reality series to commercials/PSA/EPKs, feature films, news and to the frontier of online productions, she has worked in nearly every role. However, her greatest passion is on-set directing and overseeing and advising cuts in the bays. She thoroughly enjoys the process of going through development, production and post to ensure high quality, entertaining, "must-see" media that exceeds expectations and delivers a strong viewership and renewal.

  • Providing appropriate (COVID-19) PPE and hygiene products and rules.
  • Submitting OSHA paperwork, setting up and maintaining confidential medical records of all staff and crew.

CAMERA OPERATIONS
  • Shooting on Canon 5Ds, Panasonic HVX 200, BlackMagic cameras
  • Lighting scenes, when necessary
  • Running sound via lavs, when necessary
  • Owns camera, lighting, sound package for rental

Post

  • Editor and advance string-outs on ADOBE PREMIERE, FINAL CUT 7 and AVID MEDIA COMPOSER.
  • ​Writing Voiceover for Talent
  • Overseeing multiple story producers and editors on multiple episodes, characters and storylines
  • Hiring GFX/VFX artists, Sound Designers, Online Color Correctors and Composers.
  • Stylizing show open titles, bumpers, animations, music cues, general visual and audio show elements
  • Providing constructive and motivating notes to editors, composers, animators, colorists, sound designers
  • Collaborating with Post Supervisors and other post staff
  • Delivering deliverables on time
